Some businesses begin with a business plan. Ours began with family.
Long before Lemora Boot House existed, my grandfather, Vicente Gallegos, was building relationships throughout Texas and Mexico. In the 1980s, he traveled extensively sourcing western boots, belts, hats, and leather goods for western retailers across Texas. What started as a passion for quality craftsmanship eventually grew into his own leather belt factory, where he spent years creating products that reflected the pride, skill, and tradition of Mexican artisans.
Growing up, I didn't realize how much those experiences would shape me.
As a Mexican American woman raised in Texas, my summers were spent traveling to Jalisco, Mexico, where much of my family still lives today. Those trips connected me to a culture built on hard work, family, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurship. I watched generations of makers and business owners create beautiful things with their hands, often without receiving the recognition they deserved.
Years later, after building a career, becoming a wife, and then becoming a mother, I found myself wanting to create something meaningful of my own.
Motherhood has a way of changing your perspective. It makes you think about legacy, about what you want to build, and what you want to pass down to the next generation. After welcoming my daughter, Emilia, I felt inspired to create a brand that honored both where I come from and where I hope to go.
Lemora Boot House was born from that vision.
Our boots are handcrafted in León, Guanajuato—the heart of Mexico's footwear industry—by skilled artisans who have spent years perfecting their craft. Every pair is produced in small batches using premium materials and traditional techniques, blending timeless western heritage with elevated design.
We believe a great pair of boots should tell a story. Not just the story of the person wearing them, but the story of the hands that made them, the traditions that inspired them, and the generations that made them possible.
Lemora is our way of honoring the path my grandfather started decades ago while creating something new for today's woman—one who values quality, authenticity, and craftsmanship.
Thank you for being part of our story.
We're just getting started.
